TLILIC0019 Licence to operate a Portal Boom Crane CP

 

Outcome: Nationally recognised statement of attainment and a HRWL

Course Cost: POA, crane to be supplied by client

 

Course Duration: 4 days (experience, competency and class size dependent)

 

Location: Onsite, statewide

Pre-requisites: Must be 18 years of age and possess very good language, literacy and numeracy skills.

What to bring: USI Number (https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi). Biscuits, tea, coffee and drinks are provided. There are many takeaway food options nearby or feel free to bring your own lunch

PPE requirements: Hard hat, safety boots, long pants and Hi Vis short/long sleeve shirt

  • pack up.

Application

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a portal boom crane safely.

Portal boom crane means a boom crane or a jib crane that is mounted on a portal frame that, in turn, is supported on runways along which the crane travels.

A person performing this work is required to hold a portal boom crane HRWL.

Statement of attainment issued by AOTA RTO #91463

  All nationally recognised training, when a learner is deemed competent at the completion of their training, will be issued with a Statement of Attainment Competency in the unit in which they have enrolled by our partnering Registered Training Organisations:
