Course Duration: 4-5 days (experience, competency and class size dependent)
Location: Onsite or offsite, statewide
Pre-requisites: Must be 18 years of age and possess very good language, literacy and numeracy skills. HRWS recommends that you have held a C6 and DG HRWL for at least 2 years.
What to bring: USI Number (https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi). Biscuits, tea, coffee and drinks are provided. There are many takeaway food options nearby or feel free to bring your own lunch
PPE requirements: Safety boots, long pants and Hi Vis short/long sleeve shirt

Unit Descriptor
This unit specifies the outcomes required to operate a slewing mobile crane (over 100 tonnes) for licensing purposes. It encompasses the requirement for non-slewing mobile crane licence and the vehicle loading crane licence.
Application of the Unit
This unit requires the operator to plan the work, conduct routine checks, set up crane, transfer loads, mobile loads and shut down and secure the crane.
This unit is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
This unit in its current form meets state and territory licensing requirements. Any alteration will result in a unit, which is not acceptable to regulators for the purpose of licensing.
