<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Participants must have the physical capacity to perform the practical demonstrations, such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and rescue breathing techniques on manikins.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">High Risk Work Solutions delivers this course as Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909, ensuring compliance with the Standards for RTOs. A Statement of Attainment is issued by Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909 when an individual successfully completes one or more accredited units within this course.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Specific licensing/regulatory requirements relating to this competency, including requirements for refresher training should be obtained from the relevant national/state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory Authorities.</p>
